Price city electrical customers living south of the railroad tracks between Carbon Avenue and 300 East to 600 South as well as north of the tracks between 200 East to 700 West to 600 North will experience a power outage on Aug. 2.

The outage is scheduled to begin around six in the morning and last four to five hours.

The outage is a conclusion to recent upgrades to the electrical grid.

The planned outage will allow new equipment that was installed in June to be activated.

However, the change will only effect the customers connected to the downtown substation and will be the final measure in completing the upgrade.

For information, local residents may contact Price City Hall.
