Editor:

I think that a coal fired power plant should be built in Carbon County. The rest of the State does not want any built, but Carbon County would approve a plant to be built.

One could be built across from the area where the Lila Canyon Coal Mine is being developed.

So I think that the Carbon County Economic Development Director should arrange a meeting with Rocky Mountain Power and talk to them about building a coal fired power plant in Carbon County. Ninety percent of the citizens in Carbon County would approve the plant to be built.

This plant in operation could really help the industrial and economic growth in Carbon County.
