There is only a week to go before region play begins for the Lady Dinos. Juan Diego was the latest challenge for the team as they prepare for the games that count. The Soaring Eagles were also the latest to hand the Dinos another 3-1 match loss. On Thursday night Carbon went down to defeat by scores of 24-26, 25-13, 18-25, and 22-25 as they continued to find the combination that will put them back on the road to wins.

The Lady Dinos played well in game one as they took an early lead. Late in the game they let it slip away in a hard fought battle and came up just short. Game two was all Carbon. They went up early and held the lead all the way to win by over 10 points. Juan Diego regrouped and the last two games were back and forth as Juan Diego came out on top.

Coach Potts remains upbeat about the team's progress,."We continue to play better with each match. Against Juan Diego we played well, but just let a couple of games slip away. We did a lot of things right. We fought hard, came from behind, passed well and played as a team."

Carbon takes on Delta Tuesday (today) at 6:30 p.m. in the Carbon High gym.
