Carbon Boy's Golf team holds second place

The Carbon High Golf team had their second region match of the season on Thursday, Aug. 20, at Park City. Carbon finished in second place again while Park City won the match with a score of 307. Carbon's team total was 329, Union finished with 333 and Wasatch had a 360.

In individual scoring, Jordan Pinedo was the low man for the Dinos with a 77. Jaren McCourt ended with an 82. Corbin Black and Gage Bigelow both had 85s to round out the scoring.

The Dinos have two matches this week. On Wednesday they have a practice match at Roosevelt. Then on Thursday they will have a region 10 match, again in Roosevelt.

Coach Tony Pinedo commented on the upcoming tee times, "Park City will be a challenge but we will keep working hard and do our best."
