Elder Derek Joseph Callor has been called to serve in the California-Roseville mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His farewell service will be Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Carbonville LDS Ward. The ward meets in the Spring Glen building, 1985 West 4000 North.

Elder Callor will enter the Provo missionary training center Aug. 26. He is the son of Tony and Annette Callor. He is the grandson of Linden and Kathleen Laws and Joseph and Sandra Callor. He is the great-grandson of Jean Laws.
