MT. VERNON, Mo. - Betty Lou Pfaff, 77, of Mt. Vernon, Mo., passed away Friday, July 17, 2009, in the Christian Health Care in Republic, Mo.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1931 in Cortez, Colo., to Claude and Juanita May Taylor Dennis.
Betty worked as a cook for Ray's Bar and Grill in Green River prior to moving to Mt. Vernon, Mo., a year ago.
On Dec. 17, 1970, she was united in marriage with Harold O. Pfaff in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death in 1984. Her parents; son, Eddie Cordova; brother, Wayne Dennis; and sister, Cora Dennis, also preceded her in death. Survivors include son, Danny Cordova and wife, Terri, of Mt. Vernon. Mo.; two daughters, Vicky Fulcher and husband, Dennis, of Mt. Vernon, Mo.; and Beatrice Cordova of Cuba, Mo.; three brothers, Marvin Dennis of Green River, Jess Dennis of Salt Lake City and Ronald Dennis of Evanston, Wyo.; sister, Shirley McCintosh and husband, Casey, of Dewer Okla.; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Elgin Cemetery in Green River at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mt. Vernon, Mo.
