Archaeology in Range Creek goes on

Jake Anderson and Sarah Botkin work to uncover artifacts at an archaeological dig in Range Creek. The project is under the direction of College of Eastern Utah curator of archaeology Renee Barlow and they have uncovered nearly 500 artifacts in at the site where they are working. So far they have uncovered numerous levels of habitation with the oldest being 1,200 years old. Watch for more about this project in the Sun Advocate and on the paper's web site at sunad.com.
