WELLINGTON/SANDY - Donna Jane Tidwell Bridger, 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep July 7, 2009, from incidence due to Parkinson's disease.
Donna was born March 11, 1933 in Orangeville to Joseph Randolph Tidwell and Edith Anderson Tidwell. Donna was raised in Wellington with one brother, Joe.
She loved to quilt and do any kind of handwork. She loved to garden.
Each of her children and most of her grandchildren received handmade quilts from her.
Donna met her eternal companion, Daniel Bridger, when she was a teen and later married him Dec. 6, 1952 at her home in Wellington. They spent their married life in Cheyenne, Wyo., and raised their family there. Daniel preceded her in death in 1969.
They had three daughters, Brenda (Henry) Vincent, Kailua, Hawaii; Terri Bridger, Draper; and Karen Bridger, Draper. Donna is also survived by five grandchildren, Adrianne Vincent, Hanale (Erica) Vincent, Kekoa (Alyssa) Vincent, Kawika Vincent, and Kapono Vincent. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Erihana and Nale Vincent, all from Hawaii. She is survived by her brother, Joseph (Gay) Tidwell, Wellington; and two nieces and two nephews.
A graveside service was July 13 at the Sandy City Cemetery under the direction of Goff Mortuary, Midvale.
