SCIPIO - Our beloved mother and grandmother, Lorna Mae Laver Esklund, passed away June 27, 2009.

She was born Sept. 30, 1921 to Leroy and Annie Mae Laver, in Mammoth.

Mom was a homemaker and an active member in the Scipio LDS Ward.

She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She will be missed by her many friends and family.

She is survived by her sister, Cecil (Ray) Doine; sister-in-law, Yvonne (Ross) Bosen; children, Jill (John) Yu and Michelle Larsen; grandchildren, Britt Zimmerman, Michael Larsen, Matthew and Emily Larsen, Nick Yu, Jason Yu and Nathan Yu; great-grandchildren Tianna, Bryton and Elise Zimmerman; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arland Esklund; her son, Gregg Laver Esklund; sisters, Marjorie Olsen, Marion Adamson and Dorothy Burke.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 3, at 1 p.m. at the Scipio LDS Ward. Family and friends may pay their respects at the church Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services. Funeral services are under the direction of Olpin Funeral Home.
