Highway 6 work in canyon continues

Paving machine personnnel wait for another truck of blacktop to show up while idling at the halfway mark between Colton and Emma Park on Tuesday afternoon. The Utah Department of Transportation has a major road renovation going on in the area that will provide a four lane road from near where the White River crosses Highway 6 to Emma Park Road. The work in some areas appears to be nearly complete, while in others hills are still being removed for the expansion.
