Pete and Quetta Hyita

Pete Hyita, born and raised in East Carbon, and Quetta Larsen Hyita, born and raised in Moab, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 26.

The couple were married June 26, 1959. They were sealed June 26, 2007 in the Manti LDS Temple.

The couple made their home in Cedar City, where they owned and operated an electrical contracting company for 36 years.

They have four daughters, Raina Robertson, Mindy Price, Kristy Brown and Kimberly Smyke, all of Cedar City. They have 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The couple will be honored at an open house June 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the rock church located at 75 East Center Street in Cedar City.
