Debbie and Danny Howa announce the marriage of their daughter, Dede Howa, to David G. Kim, the son of Audrey and Howard Kim.

The couple were married May 8 in Kailua, Hawaii.

Family and friends will celebrate their marriage June 6 at the Carbon Country Club.

Dede is a prevention specialist and faculty member of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. David is the founder and designer of Oiwi Ocean Gear apparel company.

Dede and David reside in Honolulu, Hawaii.
