On June 7 starting at 7 a.m., Price city will experience a power outage lasting approximately five hours. The disruption will affect all Price electrical customers.

The purpose of the outage is to bring a larger capacity transmission line into the city and complete several substation upgrades, according to officials. The changes will meet the current and future demands for power along with adding stability to Price's electrical system.
