Growing season just beginning for farmers

A truck spreads fertilizer on a field that will produce crops by fall. Farmers have been hard at work throughout the county plowing, planting and fertilizing this spring. The growing season is just beginning and there is some worry about water because the snowpack was below normal in the mountains. A hot summer can use up water fast and officials are keeping their eyes on Scofield Reservoir.
