Memorial Day ceremonies and notes
â¢The Helper American Legion will hold its annual memorial service at the Helper City Cemetery (Mountain View Cemetery) on May 25 at 9 a.m.
â¢The American Legion Price Post #3, the V.F.W. Miner's Post 2379 and the Price Marine Corp League are joining to honor all veterans of all wars with a service at 11 a.m. on May 25 . The service will take place at the Price City Cemetery near the Veterans Memorial. Former members of the military service and the public are invited to the memoriam. All veterans wishing to participate shall be at the east side of the National Guard Armory no later than 10:30 a.m. that morning. A ceremony will also be held at the Cliffview Cemetery in north Price following the one at the Price cemetery.
â¢Members of Helper's Italian-American Lodge, Stella D'America, are asked to assemble at the lodge burial plot in Mountain View Cemetery in Helper on May 25 for a brief memorial service immediately following the Catholic Mass.
â¢A ceremony will be held at the Wellington City cemetery at noon on May 25 to honor military personnel that have passed away. The ceremony will be done by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
