DRAPER - Tracy LaGrand Jones, age 23, passed away at his home in Draper on May 6, 2009.
He was born Dec. 3, 1985 in Price to Tracy and Ellie Jones. He married Sharon Marie Watson on Aug. 19, 2006.
Tracy had a great love for the game of baseball. Starting at the age of 2 with his dad by his side coaching, he grew into an awesome player.
He also had a love for fishing, camping and riding four-wheelers.
He was a man of great kindness with a heart as big as all outdoors. He never met a stranger and made everyone his friend.
But his number one love was his little girl, Italia Marie. He loved spending time with her and she knew she was his "Special Girl."
Tracy is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Italia Marie; parents, Tracy and Ellie Jones of Helper; sisters, Courtney Mele of Helper and Kara (Andy) Cunningham of Helper; his special niece, Camry Melo; nephew, Austin Cunningham; and nieces, Kylie and Jacee Cunningham. Preceded in death by grandparents, Tracy and Charmaine Jones; and grandfather, Evert Winder.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at the Helper LDS Stake Center, 150 Ridgeway. Viewing will be Friday, May 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price, 680 South100 East, and Saturday from10 to 10:45 a.m. at the stake center prior to services. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
