Emergency personnel assist in removing debris from the roadway at the scence of a traffic accident last Friday morning in Price.

At approximately 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 13, a Wasatch Front resident was injured when the man's car reportedly ran into a tractor trailer rig on U.S. Highway 6 near where the Price city shops are located.

The unidentified driver of the passenger vehicle involved in the collision was reportedly heading north from Green River and had allegedly been weaving all over the road after exiting Interstate 70. At the scene of the local mishap, the driver apparently weaved across the road and hit the front set of tires on the truck and then bounced off the back set of tires as well.

The driver of the truck had no injuries, while the motorist suffered head injuries and an apparent broken leg and was transported to Castleview Hospital.

At press time Monday, the accident remained under investigation.
