Oddly colored sky strikes Castle Valley
A redish, pinkish, orangish colored sky covering Carbon and Emery counties last Wednesday afternoon drew the attention of many local residents. The wind storm that had been blasting the area all day had been picking up dirt from the Moab area where a dust storm at about 3 p.m. inundated Grand County. The dust coming from the south then colored the skies over eastern Utah.
