Sun Advocate reporter

For the Dino soccer team, they knew they would have a tough week to get through.

They got a bit of a reprieve when their Wednesday game with Juan Diego was postponed until this week.

But on Friday, region leading Delta gave the Dinos no break when they brought their A game to Price and beat the Dinos 7-2.

Delta wasted no time in setting the tone and took control of the ball right after the opening kick and sent it past Carbon goalie Adam Bedont before even two minutes had ticked off the clock.

The Dinos made things right when they quickly answered with a shot past the Rabbits goal tender.

After a bit of back and forth, Delta put in two more to head into the half with a three one lead.

It was mostly Delta in the second half as they added four more goals.

The Dinos did get one more through the posts to keep from getting shutout in either half.

Several changes to the soccer schedule have Carbon playing Juan Diego at home on Tuesday. They then travel to play Salem Hills Wednesday.

The schedule changes also include the April 17th home game with Juan Diego is now an away game to be played on April 14th.

The rest of the schedule will remain the same.
