The Price City Fire Department and area citizens shined brightly over the last two weeks in fund raising efforts. Price City Fire Department fire fighters raised $2879 in the boots at the Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Smith's Food and Albertson's parking lots.

Money collected was presented to the MDA telethon Monday morning by Price City fire fighter, Gregory Lowder. According to Nick Tatton, Price City spokesman, this was the most successful fill-the-boot campaign for the Price City Fire Department to date.
