PRICE - Thusnelda Gladys Mills, 93 of Price, died Sunday, March 29, 2009.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1915 in Sunnyside to William Alvin and Gladys Eva Tatton Hunter. Married Wilburn Mills on Jan. 2, 1934 in Price, the first day that Utah drivers licenses were issued for .25 cents.

In 1961, Thusnelda went to work for Safeways as a meat cutter.  After retiring, she and Bill traveled and spent time with their children and grandchildren up until his passing in 1989.

Thusnelda enjoyed traveling with the senior citizens group on countless trips to Wendover.

Up until two weeks before her passing, Thusnelda was an independent, vivacious woman. She was still driving to town to do her shopping, running errands and going to visit with family and friends.

She was an amazing 93 years young.

Her pride and joy will always be her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was always happiest when she was surrounded by them.
