Price City Fire Chief Paul Bedont aids Helper and Price firefighters as they attempt to extinguish a blaze that threatened livestock along Hwy. 6 near the domes in Price. The fire became more and more difficult to put out as it caught hold of a rubbish pile that contained tires, wood ties and pallets. While heavy winds only added to the firefighters challenge, area crews were able to remove all live stock from the area while they battled the fire's fuel and a tight inlet road.
