Local citizens join state, county and city officials at the Carbon County Court House on March 16 to learn more about helping their local community by becoming a weather spotter. The training was initiated by emergency planning officials including Carbon County Sheriff's Emergency Management Services Director Jason Llewelyn. The spotters will aid the National Weather Service in warning local residents as well as travelers about conditions in and around the Carbon area in real time.
