The Southern Utah University Ballroom Dance Company will perform their award-winning showcase Simply Ballroom, Saturday, March 14 at the BDAC on the College of Eastern Utah Campus.

Audiences will be treated to breath-taking lifts, beautiful costumes, and a variety of ballroom dances including the exciting Latin Samba of Brazil, the majestic Slow Waltz of Austria, the rhythmical Cha Cha from Cuba, the elegant American Foxtrot, and the intense Spanish Paso Doble.

Traveling from Cedar City for this one-night engagement, this energetic group will keep the audience tapping their feet as they are entertained by wonderful music, beautiful costumes, and formation ballroom dancing.

The SUU Ballroom Dance Company has toured throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, and Latin America receiving numerous accolades for their performances. Under the direction of multi-award-winning ballroom dancer Mark Baker, the Ballroom Dance Company is one of the premier performing groups of Southern Utah University.

The Ballroom Dance Company maintains a touring program that typically reaches more than 75 cities across the United States and internationally. With more than 100 performances each year, this professional-level ensemble delights, entertains, and uplifts thousands worldwide.

Simply Ballroom will be performed at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the Price Albertsons, 760 W Price River Dr. in Price or at the door.
