Carbon sheriff pulls double-duty as Babe Ruth president

Carbon County Sheriff James Cordova approaches the Price City Council concerning concession repairs at the Babe Ruth baseball fields in town. Cordova, recently received word that the 15-year-old all-star tournament will be conducted in Carbon County this year at the high school, college and American Legion ball fields. He has high hopes that last year's 14-year-old state champs will "take it to" the competition on their home field and retain their state title.
