He served in the U.S. Air Force for seven years. He spent 39 years of his professional career as an executive working for the F.W. Woolworth Company.
James was a loving, caring and devoted husband and father.
He enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren and will be missed dearly.
Survived by his lovely wife, Becky Salzetti; his children, Jim, Joe, Jeannette and Jeff; and six grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Nisa, Natalia, Sierra and Johnny. He is also survived by his mother, Fawn Salzetti; two brothers, Ron and Carl; and sister, Ava Brown. He was preceded in death by son, John; and father, Albert Salzetti.
A service was Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Gamby Funeral Home, in Lomita, Calif. A Mass will be Thursday, Feb. 26, 10 a.m., at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Lomita. Interment, Green Hills Mortuary.
