PRICE - Jeffrey Lynn Hunt, age 39, returned to his Heavenly Father on Feb. 14, 2009 at his home in Price with his mother and brother, Roger, by his side.
Jeff was born Oct. 13, 1969 in Price to Wayne and Nina Nason Hunt. He married Merrillee Wilberg. They later divorced, but remained good friends.
Jeff was raised in Price, attended Price schools and graduated from the College of Eastern Utah after three years.
His specialty at CEU was drafting and he helped design the new student center on campus.
Jeff later got a degree in histo technology and worked at Castleview Hospital in the lab for several years.
Jeff liked to go hunting with his family and friends, boating and fishing, arrowhead and rock hunting and, most of all, spending time with his children, Garrett and Sydney, going to sporting activities and doing other fun things.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survived by his mother, Nina; two children, Garrett Lee and Sydney Lynn Hunt of Helper; brothers, Roger Wayne Hunt of Price, and Vincent Moroni (Jen) Hunt of Salem; sisters, Debra Sue (Richard) Feador of Henderson, Nev.; Lois Gaylene (Chuck) Balzer of Carson City, Nev.; and Tamela Rae Hunt of Grand Junction, Colo. Preceded in death by his father, Wayne M. Hunt.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Price 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 479 North 100 East. A viewing will be Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary, 680 East 100 South in Price, and one hour prior the services at the church. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery in Price.
