SPRING GLEN - The daughter of Anton and Viola Skriner and wife of Steve Rosenberg, Toni Louise Skriner Paul Rosenberg was taken from us on Jan. 25, 2009 at the young age of 60.
Toni's early years were spent in Carbon County, graduating from Carbon High School and later graduating from the University of Utah in 1970 with high honors.
She belonged to several organizations, including the American Legion, Job's Daughters and Eastern Star Manzanita Chapter.
Even though her last years were spent in Colorado, she was the most caring and loving daughter with almost weekly phone calls to her mom.
She was a friend to everyone.
Survived by her mother, Viola Skriner of Spring Glen; her husband, Steve Rosenberg of Centennial, Colo.; her wonderful cat, Cocobelle, also of Centennial; her uncle, Henry, and aunt, Nadine Skriner of Spring Glen; aunt, Antonia Corak of Salt Lake City; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Anton; brother, Joey; late husband, George Paul; grandparents; several aunts and uncles.
Toni loved animals, especially cats. Toni's and Steve's cat, Cocobelle, was very precious to her.
Toni, it has been joyous to have watched you grow more and more special as the years went by. It was a special delight to have had a loving and wonderful daughter and wife like you. Love, Mom and Steve.
At Toni's request, there will be no services. Family will be at the Mountain View Cemetery in Helper on Friday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. for a graveside service. Friends are welcome to attend. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or to pain research would be most appreciated.
