SCOFIELD/YARNELL, Ariz. - Longtime Carbon County resident Shelby Lee Blevins died Jan. 13, 2009 in Yarnell, Ariz.

Born July 14, 1937 to John W. Blevins and Lucille VanOrman Blevins in Lynch, Ky .

Shelby worked for the Utah Department of Transportation and resided in Scofield for many years.

Preceded in death by parents; sister, Bettye Taylor; and brother, John W. Blevins Jr. Survived by son, Shelby Lee Blevins Jr.; daughter, Danielle Blevins; brother, Ralph Blevins, sisters, Geraldine Coffey, Christine Sanich, LaRue Mussatt and Tara Kalatzes; grandchildren, Braxton and Laska.

A spring memorial service is planned in Scofield.
