1978 - 2009

PRICE/GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Our precious baby doll, Lacey Leigh Liddiard, beloved mother, daughter and sister, died on Jan. 19, 2009.

She was born to Rose Mary Martinez Liddiard and Mark C. Liddiard, on June 24, 1978 in Price.

Her greatest loves were her daughter, Reeannen; her son, Zachery Mark; her parents, Mark and Rose; her brother, Eric, and sister-in-law, Nicole; her granny, Lillian Martinez; and her loving friend, Monte Courley.

She graduated from Carbon High School and Mesa State College with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

She was employed by City Market as a pharmacy tech.

Lacey had a gift for helping the elderly and caring for others.

She was a kind, passionate and loving person.

Lacey is survived by her children, Reeannen and Zachery Mark; her mother and father, Rose and Mark; her brother, Eric, and her sister-in-law, Nicole; her grandmother, Lillian Martinez; her aunts and uncles, Mike (Anna) Martinez, Mark (Kelly) Martinez, Annette Sadler, Jim (Mary Kathleen) Liddiard, Brenda (Stan) Richardson, Marilyn (Jeff) Jenson, Julie (Bill) Eichler; along with many other relatives and friends who loved and cared for her. Lacey was loved by longtime special friends, Jolyn Parks, Philup Grako; and cousin, "Little A" Adam Martinez. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Stella and Lavar Liddiard, Abel Martinez Jr.; grandma-great, Ora Mayer.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 23, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, Colo. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with a visitation starting at 11:30. a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has created an Education Fund for Lacey's Children at Coloramo Credit Union.
