PRICE - Bernice Wilson Henrie age 85, passed away Dec. 4, 2008 at the home of her oldest son.
She was born June 8, 1923 in Sunnyside to James and Kate Hatter Wilson. She married Ted Rose Henrie on Jan. 21, 1942 in Wellington.
Bernice enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially camping, in her younger years and with her family. She also enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and doing ceramics and making bead hangers.
Bernice is survived by her children, Ted Ross (Shirley) Henrie of Price; Boyd (Helen) Henrie of Wellington; Kay Thayn of Wellington; Kent (Amy) Henrie, Hotchkiss, Colo.; and Clay (Litsa) Henrie of Paonia, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Carol Henrie of Price; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. Preceded in death by her husband; Ted Rose Henrie; son, Danny Ray Henrie; son-in-law; Darwin Thayn; and 10 siblings.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 8, at Fausett Mortuary in Price. Interment was in the Price City Cemetery.
