Carbon County Triad - meets the first Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Price public safety dispatch center.
Members of the group focus on law enforcement and aging programs to assist the elderly.
BACA Community Christmas - The holiday event is slated Dec. 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Kraync Motor in Price.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Youngsters attending the activity will receive a bag of candy, a toy and a free picture with Santa.
Messiah concert - will be presented Dec. 7.
Helper Tree Magic - Bidding for decorated trees will be conducted Nov. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Nov. 22 from noon until 4 p.m. at the Rio Theatre in Helper.

Relay for Life - The kick off for the 2009 event is planned Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m. The relay is slated next June.

Free legal clinics - Utah Legal Services has scheduled free clinics the second and fourth Monday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 7th District Court complex, located at 149 East 100 South in Price.
Residents should bring all pertinent documents pertaining to legal questions to appointments.

Carbon County Animal Shelter - AVID chip pet identification is available at the shelter.

Carbon County Family Support and Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children from infants to 11 years old.
The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence.
Parenting classes are scheduled Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
The center is also collecting donations for displaced families.
Donated furniture items will be accepted only if the center has families in need.
