Helper Tree Magic - Participants in the Rio Theatre benefit event will decorate trees Nov. 18, Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Lights on ceremony, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m., followed by a visit from Santa at the civic auditorium.
Expressions ballet, Dec. 2 and Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Rio Theatre. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the civic auditorium.
Chili dinner, Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the civic auditorium.
Variety show, Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Rio Theatre.

Relay for Life - The kick off for the 2009 event is planned Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m. The relay is slated June 6 and June 6.

Free legal clinics - Utah Legal Services has scheduled free clinics the second and fourth Monday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 7th District Court complex, located at 149 East 100 South in Price. Carbon County Animal Shelter - AVID chip pet identification is available at the shelter. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Carbon County Family Support and Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children from infants to 11 years old. The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence. Parenting classes are scheduled Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
Child care resource and referral - For information on reserving a spot at upcoming child care provider orientation classes, residents may contact Avis Burrows at 636-2355. Applications for startup grants are available.
Price library - Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., closed Saturday and Sunday.
Story time is scheduled Monday at 11 a.m. for toddlers, Tuesday and Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Thursday at 1 p.m.
English as a second language classes are Monday and Thursday at 6 p.m. Basic literacy classes are scheduled as needed.
