Sixth graders JW Broadbear, Kati Branch, Morgan Johnson, Devan Shiner and Aubree Robinett conduct an exit poll during the Nov. 4 election. The young pollsters were set up 150 feet from Castle Heights as to meet legal guidelines. Of the 131 individuals polled, the teacher reported that most voters listed the economy as their main focus in deciding the national election. The student generated poll asked residents whether race was an issue in presidential voting. Three Carbon County residents reportedly said yes.
