Carbon County Triad - meets the first Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Price public safety dispatch center. Members focus on law enforcement and aging programs to assist the elderly.
Messiah concert - will be presented Dec. 7.
Saint Anthony's carnival - will be presented Nov. 6, Nov. 7 and Nov. 8. The turkey dinner will be served Nov. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult and children meal tickets will be available for purchase.
The carnival will start at 5 p.m. on Nov. 6 and at 6 p.m. on Nov. 7 and Nov. 8. The event includes a silent auction, games and food.

Price history walk - The free event is slated Nov. 1. Participants will meet at 10 a.m. in front of the city library.
Fall Fest - Sponsored by the thrift store, soup kitchen and Avalon house, the fundraising activity is scheduled Nov. 1 starting at noon in downtown Helper.
Proceeds will help the non-profit organizations provide meals, shelter and clothing for people in need.
Carbon County residents are encouraged to donate homemade food and craft items for a sidewalk sale. The event will include a karaoke contest, refreshments, face painting and a dance.

Price senior center dance - is planned Nov. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. Music from the Heart will play and donations will be accepted.

Helper Tree Magic - Participants in the Rio Theatre benefit event will decorate trees Nov. 18, Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Bidding will be conducted Nov. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Nov. 22 from noon until 4 p.m.
Participants will be asked to donate lights and decorations.

Food handlers classes - will be offered Dec. 10 at 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Southeastern Utah Health District in Price.
Two-hour sessions will also be taught Nov. 19 at 4 and 7 p.m. at the public health department in Castle Dale

Sunnyside craft fair - is slated Nov. 1 from noon until 6 p.m. at city hall. The event will include food, crafts, entertainment and a Mexican dinner.
Gallery East - In the Moment exhibit of prints by Jennifer Marie Suflita will remain on display through Oct. 31. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Immunization clinic hours - Clinics are scheduled at Southeastern Utah Health District Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. For information, contact the public health department at 637-3671.
Carbon County Animal Shelter - AVID chip pet identification is available at the shelter.
Hours at the animal shelter are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Carbon County RSVP - Residents who would like to lend a helping hand or need the assistance of volunteers may contact the Price RSVP program at 637-9118 or call the East Carbon office.
Carbon County Family Support and Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children from infants to 11 years old.
The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence.
Parenting classes are scheduled Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
The center is also collecting donations for displaced families.

Price library - Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., closed Saturday and Sunday.
Story time is scheduled Monday at 11 a.m. for toddlers, Tuesday and Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Thursday at 1 p.m.
English as a second language classes are Monday and Thursday at 6 p.m. Basic literacy classes are scheduled as needed.

Second Chance Wildlife Rehabilitation - is a non-profit group dedicated to the care of orphaned, injured or ill wildlife.
