Tanya Filippov, Dewey Houston

Valene Houston and Richard and Elaine Houston announce the marriage of their son, Dewey Houston, to Tanya Filippov, the daughter of Lyudmild and Sergey Filippov of St. Petersburg, Russia. They were married July 22 in Salt Lake City.

Dewey served in the Dallas-Ft. Worth mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He graduated from Utah State University with a degree in business finance. He designs and makes carwashes. Tanya completed six years of college before coming to the United States.

The couple will make their home in Salt Lake.
