Chelta Morgan Ballard and Riley Vic Peterson announce their marriage on Sept. 6.

A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wadley Farms, 35 E. 400 North, Lindon. Dancing will follow.

Chelta is the daughter of Chris and Jeff Hiatt of Payson and the late Brett Ballard. A 2002 graduate of Payson High School, she has received a pharmacy technician license. and attended Paul Mitchell The School, where She graduated and received a cosmetology license. Chelta works as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Payson and as a hair stylist.Riley is the son of Lori and Frank Pugliese of Price and Mick and Machelle Peterson of Santaquin. A 2001 graduate of Carbon High School, he has trained and become a union boilermaker.
