Reese Barrick, Renee Barlow and Jeff Bartlett along with Hopi Tribe representatives Leigh Kuwanwisia and Lendrick Lomayestewa discuss possible dating techniques to be used on a ceremonial flute found in Range Creek nearly two years ago. The group discussed the pros and cons of using Carbon 14 dating which would require that a small piece of the flute be destroyed as well as a new form of non-destructive dating that would take a sample of debris from within the flute and test it.
