EAST CARBON - Our wonderful mother and grandmother of five generations, Antoinette Gallegos Robles, passed away peacefully Aug. 4, 2008, at the age of 96.
She was born June 23, 1912 in Oakview, Colo., to Moises and Cinita Gallegos. Married Albert D. Robles, March 19, 1928 in Walsenburg, Colo.; he preceded her in death on March 9, 1986.
Antoinette was an extremely talented seamstress, wonderful cook, gardener extraordinaire, and her talents were limitless.
She helped many in their time of need and everyone is grateful for her many acts of kindness.
We love you, Mom, and you'll be in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her children, Betty, Alice, Edna, Stan, Cyndee and Jayson; special granddaughter, Yvonne; brother, John; sister, Martha; and many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; grandsons, Karl and Mark Hunt; great-grandson, Randy Jr.; and her much love son, Jr.
Funeral service Saturday, Aug. 9, 2 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Saturday one hour prior to service. Friends are welcome at Mitchell's daily. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Edna for giving so much time, love and patience to our mom.
