90th birthday

Francis C. Bakken will celebrate his 90th birthday Jan. 14.

His granddaughter, Geniva Brooks, and her family and friends will celebrate the occasion with him Jan. 12 after services at United Methodist Church.

Francis was born in Platte, S.D. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor after 40 years of service.

Francis moved to Price in 1998 after residing in Las Vegas, Nev., for 61 years.
