 | | Published 1,825 days ago | Chamber hosts meeting to allow voters to question primary election candidates
Democratic Party candidates Neil Breinholt, John Jones, Grady McEvoy and Christine Watkins gather Monday at the Carbon County Courthouse to answer pre-formed questions as well as respond to inquiries from the audience. Jones and Breinholt are seeking the partyâs county commission nomination, while Watkins and McEvoy are running on the primary ballot to be the Democratic contender for a seat on the Utah House of Representatives. The commission chambers were nearly full for the meet the candidates gathering sponsored by the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce. The primary election will be June 24. Chamber director Ann Evans said the organization plans to arrange to have general election candidates meet with Carbon County residents in the fall.
