Cement replacing bricks at gathering spot on College of Eastern Utah campus

Workers are close to finishing a project in 'the pit' at College of Eastern Utah. Housing events and outside dances, the area was constructed when the library was built more than 30 years ago, complete with a brick floor. The pit's new red pigmented cement floor will not only cure roughness problems, but last a long time. A dance originally scheduled in the gathering spot for International Days had to be relocated due to the construction work. But the temporary inconvenience will soon be forgotten when barbecues and outdoor dances are presented on the new smoother surface at the pit.
