Eastern Utah newspaper readers reading the "No Net Impact" ads by the well developer may wonder if they are talking about the same Nine Mile Canyon that we know and love.

The company proposes to drill 800 plus wells in a 138,000 acre area and keep using the Nine Mile road to access its wells. They refuse to by-pass the Nine Mile road with all the industrial traffic, while at the same time constructing 180 miles of new, Gold Book road.
