Carbon High Dino football team prepares for upcoming season.

As the season nears a beginning, the Carbon High Dino football team prepares by hosting a parent and player night on August 8 at 7 p.m. The objective of the meeting is to allow both the parents and players to meet with the coaches and determine what the goals and plans for the upcoming season. The event will take place at Carbon High in the new gym.

Although many of the athletes who will compete on this years Dino team have been practicing throughout the summer, mandatory practice will begin August 12 at 3 p.m. on the Dino field. All athletes who intend to compete this year must be present.

Finally, the Dino team will further prepare for the season by hosting the annual Blue and White game on August 16. The game will begin at 6 p.m. and will face the Dino team against one another. Everyone is invited to attend the practice game which is bound to be a fun event.

The first game of the regular season for the Dinos is scheduled for August 23 and will played in Payson at 7 p.m. The team's first home game will take place the following week against Uintah.
