Krista Edwards flies through the air on her tube as the youth comes off the sledding hill outside of Kenilworth on Saturday. The snow that dropped on locations across Carbon County last week provided needed moisture, but created winter driving conditions for residents traveling along the local roadways. Along with the crowded sledding hills in the county on Saturday, back-country skiers, snowshoers, snowmobile riders and other winter recreation enthusiasts were venturing outdoors to have fun in the white stuff. The weather forecast indicates high pressure will dominate Carbon County, but a small snowstorm may pass through the local area toward the end of the week. However, the forecast predicts more clouds than precipitation.
