Moose travels cross country

This big girl made a stop in Price on her way Gordon Creek. She hung out in the old Division of Wildlife Resources yard for a couple of days and was checking everything out from the horse carrier. Brent Stettler, conservation outreach manager with DWR said a biologist in Ogden contacted his department and said that this moose wasn't doing so well. Staff went to get her to bring her to Gordon Creek, where moose are naturally occurring. "We think that this area gives her the greatest chance for success," said Stettler. She was taken to Gordon Creek Saturday and set free.
