Carbon battles hard to take third at hometown region tournament

Facing a nearly unstoppable Delta team the Carbon High wrestlers fought hard to take third at their hometown region tournament.

While the Dinos struggled to bring home the big trophy, they did qualify many grapplers for state, giving the team a chance at redemption.

Weight Classes:

103 - Cody Hunt, third

112 - Jacob Bass, third

119 - Cameron Holdaway, third

125 - Wyatt Martinez, third

130 - Nico Velasquez, fourth

135 - Cole Hunt, third

140 - Justin Procarione, fifth

145 - Jason Fredrickson, third

152 - Matt Salas, fourth

160 - Davey Cox, third

171 - Brandon Branch, fourth

215 - Michael Harmond, second

285 - Steven Powell, second
