Carbon High requires people to obtain visitors pass during regular school hours

Carbon High administration has made the decision to lock all outside doors, except the front entrance, on the building after 8:30 a.m. on school days.

The purpose behind the decision is to protect students and staff from potential problems that could occur from outside sources.

During school hours, people must enter through the front door and go directly to the office to get a visitors pass.

The move to the security system at the school was recently implemented and is already in effect.

Residents with questions regarding the security plan may contact Carbon High at 637-2463.
