The new communications center will have the capacity to employ more than 150 Carbon County residents and will be operated out of the recently vacated Utah Department of Wildlife Resources building, according to Piccolo. Sorenson is the world leader in communications assistance for the hearing impaired and has plans to construct a facility near Price River Drive. Piccolo reported that Sorenson will be a tremendous addition to the growing economic industry in Price.
