Erika Potts goes up for two during the Dino's tough loss at home.

The Lady Dinos went down hard to the Wasatch Wasps on Tuesday night. Carbon lost to the 3A number one ranked Wasps 38-59. For the Dinos, this pre-season game doesn't count in the standings, but it is a gauge of where they stand in their run for the state championship this season.

The Dinos can see there is still much work to be done before region play begins. Wasatch held Megan Garvin to a single three point shot as her only score. Erika Potts led the team in scoring with 13. Julia Potts scored seven for the Dinos and Samantha Smith matched her with seven of her own.

Smith was the only other Dino to hit a three on the night.

The Dinos will play Bear River on Thursday night at the Carbon High Gym starting at 7 p.m. They will host Canyon View on Saturday. This game will begin at 5 p.m. will be played at CEU in the BDAC.
